The Chery eQ1 electric car the size of an Oku is being prepared for certification in Moscow.
Chery is preparing to start selling electric vehicles in Russia. In the capital, at one of the parking lots, they photographed the Chery eQ1 «battery» city car (known in the Middle Kingdom under the name Little Ant or «little ant»). It is believed that the Chery subcompact electric car was brought for certification, because back in July, the press service of the Chinese brand
Then Chery refrained from specifying which electric vehicles would start selling in Russia — the line was planned to be formed based on the results of marketing research and road tests. Moreover, in August, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the People’s Republic of China
The fact is that
The popularity of Chery eQ1 is explained primarily by its low price — if we take into account subsidies, then a basic electric car can be bought for only 59,900 yuan (676,000 rubles at the current exchange rate). The top version will cost 83,900 yuan (946 thousand rubles). However, in terms of characteristics, the «unit» did not fail: there are two options for a lithium-iron-phosphate traction battery; with a base battery of 30.6 kilowatt-hours, autonomy is 301 kilometers, with a top-end battery (for 40.6 kilowatt-hours) — 408 kilometers according to the outdated NEDC cycle. The electric motor is uncontested: a 41-horsepower (120 Nm) synchronous motor drives the rear axle and allows a peak 100 km / h.
In terms of dimensions, Chery eQ1 is comparable to the Soviet «Oka», but with a similar length (3.2 meters), the Chinese electric car is 25 centimeters wider and 15 centimeters taller, and the interior is designed for two people, so there should be a margin of space. Provides a multifunction steering wheel, a digital dashboard, electrically adjustable seats, a multimedia system with a portrait-oriented touchscreen, keyless entry and climate control.
At the moment, the only Chinese electric car is being sold in Russia — JAC iEV7S with a starting price of 2.5 million rubles. However, Chery has every chance to offer a more reasonable price for the eQ1, because the «one» is much more compact. In addition, localization of production cannot be ruled out — the authorities are promising 25 percent subsidies for electric vehicles assembled in Russia, and the transfer of assembly itself reduces the cost. Plans for «registration» in our country Chery
